ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
 

         Master of Business Administration/Banking and Finance {MBA/MBF}

i.          Good honors degree not below a second class lower division in relevant discipline from a recognized University plus relevant job experience

ii.                   HND in relevant discipline with a minimum of a upper credit pass from a recognized Polytechnic

iii.         Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management or Banking and Finance

iii.                  HND in relevant discipline with minimum of a lower credit pass plus Postgraduate Diploma in any relevant discipline

         Master  of Finance

i.          Good honors degree not below a second class lower division in Banking & Finance, Economics, Accounting and Business Administration or related discipline

ii.                   Recognized professional qualification {ACCA, ACIB, ACA}plus Postgraduate Diploma in relevant with the basic qualifications

                   (a)        Master of Public Administration {MPA}

                   (b)        Master of Personal Management {MPA}
                   (c)       Master of Industrial & Labor Relation {MILR}

i.          Good honors degree not below a second class lower division obtained in cognate field from a recognized University with considerable working experience

ii.                   Recognized professional qualification {AIPM, ACIS, ACISA, ETC}

Plus Postgraduate Diploma in any relevant subjects and basis qualifications

         Master of Recreation and Tourism {MRT}

i.                     A good University degree not below a second class lower division in any of the following :Chemistry, Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering, Economics,Archaeology,Geology,Geophysics,Microbiology, Education with Chemistry, Geography

ii.                   HND with a minimum of a upper credit pass in Surveying, Town Planning, Architechture,Hotel and Catering Management, Food Technology,etc plus Postgraduate Diploma in relevant subject

iii.                  HND with less than a upper credit pass plus Postgraduate Diploma in relevant discipline such as surveying, Town Planning, etc

         Master of Petroleum Economics {MPE}               

i.          A good University degree not below a second class lower division in either Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering Economics, Archaeology,Geology,Geophysics,Microbiology,or related discipline

ii.                   HND with a minimum of a upper credit pass from a recognized Polytechnic in any of the  discipline listed in 5 (i.) above

         Master of Environmental Management {MEM}

i.                   A  good  University degree not below a second class lower division in Biology,Botany,Zoology,Microbiology,Geology,Wildlife,Forestry,Geography,Agriculture,Health Sciences, Ecology, Economics or any related discipline

         Master of Information Technology

i.          A good University degree not below a second class lower division in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline

ii.                   HND with a minimum of a upper credit pass from a recognized Polytechnic in any of the discipline listed in 7(i)above

.         Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management/Banking & Finance {PGDFM/PGDBF}

i.          University degree not below a second class lower division in a relevant discipline obtained from a recognized institution

ii.                   HND in a relevant discipline with a minimum of upper credit pass

iii.                  Professional qualification equivalent to at least HND (e.g. PE11of ICAN)

         Postgraduate Diploma in Geographical Information System (GIS)

i.                     Degree not below a second class lower division in Geography,Geology,Engineering and any other qualification approve by senate

         Postgraduate Diploma in Health Psychology

i.          University degree not below a second class lower in a relevant discipline obtained from a recognized institution

ii.                   HND in a relevant discipline

iii.                  Professional qualification equivalent to at least HND

           B.Sc. Accounting/Business Administration/Banking & Finance/Public

   Administration (4 years Programme)

i.          Credit passes in the subjects in GCE’O Level/SSCE/NECO including English Language, mathematics and at least two relevant subjects plus any of the following

(a)                 Diploma in Accounting, Banking and Finance or Public Administration of University of Ado-Ekiti or any other recognized University

(b)                National Diploma (ND) in Financial Studies or related disciplines

(c)                 NCE in Accounting ,Computer Education,Economics,mathematics or any other relevant discipline

(d)                Pass in Intermediate of Foundation stage of a recognized professional examinations (e.g. ICAN,CIB,CLL etc)

(e)                 Pass in Accounting Technicians Scheme Examination (ATS Final)

.          B.Sc. Accounting/Business Administration/Banking &Finance/Public Administration ( 5 years)

i.          Credit passes in five subjects O’Level in GCE/SSCE/NECO including English

ii.          Language and Mathematics plus at least three other relevant subjects

iii.         Five  Credit passes in Teachers Grade Two Certificate including English and Mathematics

           B.A. History and International Studies 5 years Programme

i.          Credit passes in five subjects at not more than two sittings to include English Language and History/Government in the SSCE/NECO or its equivalent

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application forms are obtainable from the office of the Part-Time Programme, University of Ado-Ekiti, along Ado-Iworoko Road,Ado-Ekiti.

i.          Postgraduate Forms                  N5,000

ii.          Degree Forms                          N3,000

DEADLINE

Completed application forms should be returned to the office of the Part-Time Programme , not later than four weeks from the date of this advertisement Prospective candidates should be aware that all programmes are run on PART-TIME BASIS ONLY.
