ADMISSION INTO DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES FOR 2005/2006

 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the under listed Diploma Programmes:

 

(A) Diploma in History and International Studies                        -           Full-time

(B) Diploma in Environmental Management                                -           Full-time

(C) Diploma in Computer Studies                                              -          Part-time

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

(a)      Candidates for Diploma in History and International Studies MUST have (5) credit passes in GCE/WASCE/SSCE/NECO including English Language History/Government and two other Arts subjects.

 

DURATION: Four Semesters

 

 (b)     Candidates for Diploma in Environmental Management MUST posses five (5) credits passes in GCE/WASCE/NECO/SSCE obtained in not more than two sittings. The subjects must include English Language Geography Mathematics and one other subject from the Social Sciences

 

DURATION: Four Semesters

 

(c)      The Diploma Programme in Computer Studies is designed for Civil Servants, Teachers, Nurses, Health Officers, Chief Executives and other Professionals.

         

           Candidates MUST have at least a good honours degree of the University of Ado-Ekiti or any other recognized University. Holders of HND, NCE and Diploma from school of Health Technology or any other equivalent post qualification experience will also be eligible for admission

 

           DURATION: Two Semesters

 

           METHOD OF APPLICATION

           Application forms for (A) are available at the Faculty Office, Faculty of Arts

           Application forms for (B) are available at the Department of Geography and Planning Science, Faculty of the Social Sciences

           Application forms for (C) are available at the Computer centre, University of Ado-Ekiti.

           Each form is obtainable with a receipt for the payment of a non-refundable fee of Three Thousand Naira only (N3, 000) Payable to the University Bursary.
